Choosing the right format
Choose a layout with enough space for the main message and legible tabs. Check the page size and the number of tabs in the actual file. A Word-labeled sample should be opened in compatible software before you make layout changes.
Details to include
- Clear headline, service or notice and relevant location
- Contact method and any essential offer details
- Repeated contact information on each tear-off strip
How to use the template
- Replace sample text and keep each tab short.
- Print one test copy at the intended page size.
- Cut between tabs without detaching the row and display the flyer only where permitted.
Worked example
A tutoring flyer might list subjects, service area and a contact email. Each tab can repeat the email and ‘math tutoring’ so it makes sense after being detached.
